How to Set Product Substitutions on our eCommerce Website

If you’d like substitutions made for any products that may be out of stock when we fulfill your order, our eCommerce website offers several ways to set your substitutions preferences. When you’re ready to set your preferences, click the cart icon in the top right corner and follow these steps based on how you’d like products to be substituted.

Setting Substitutions for All Products

If you want all items that are out of stock substituted for another product of similar or lower price, click the “Allow All Substitutions” checkbox at the top of the cart.

Setting Substitutions for Some Products

If you only want some items that are out of stock substituted for another product of similar or lower price, click the “Allow Substitutions” checkbox listed under each product’s name.

Specifying Products You Want as Substitutes for First Choices

If you want all or some items that are out of stock substituted with specific products and have already checked your preferred substitutions box listed, click the “Add Item Instructions” button under each product’s name and type in the product you’d like as the substitution. Our shoppers will then know to only substitute your first choice product for your second choice product and not another one.

Allowing No Substitutions

If you’d prefer no products are substituted for others if they’re out of stock when we fulfill your order, do not check any substitution boxes in your cart. If no checkboxes are marked, our ordering system will automatically not allow substitutions for any products included in your order.
