About The Program
Menomonie Market Food Co-op’s education program was launched in 2015 to promote the cooperative business model and to help develop a sense of community among co-op owners. Through this initiative, we offer learning opportunities via various outlets.
Community Workshops
After a three-year hiatus during the COVID-19 pandemic, we’ll be hosting monthly hands-on workshops taught by experts starting later this year. Topics will include cooking, gardening, health, wellness, and craft-making. View upcoming workshops here, or contact us via the form below to request one on a specific topic.
Community Presentations
Menomonie Market Food Co-op staff also donates our time to community organizations through education opportunities. We’re available for presentations at local events on topics including retail grocery operations, the cooperative businesses model, the local food system, sustainability, and more.
