MUSHROOMS 101

WEDNESDAY, APR. 8TH & THURSDAY, APR. 9TH FROM 5:30PM-8:30PM

In this two-night class, you’ll learn about tree identification, ethics, safety, storage, preparation, and poisonous mushrooms, and you’ll explore the “three rules-plus one” and the “safe six:” morels, shaggy manes, hen of the woods, chicken mushrooms, oyster mushrooms, and giant puffballs.

Meet The Instructor
Tavis Lynch is a certified expert by the Minnesota Department of Agriculture, 30-year foraging veteran, and owner of Tavis’s Mushrooms in Cumberland, Wisconsin.

Registration
Registration is required in advance for all classes, free classes included. If applicable, payment is due at the time of registration.

How To Register
• Online: Add ticket(s) to your cart and complete the checkout process
• Phone: Call (715) 231-3663 with payment ready
• In Store: Visit the Customer Service Desk at the front of our store

Tickets
After you complete the registration process, a receipt for your class tickets will be emailed to you, and your name will be added to the attendee list(s). When you arrive at your class, please check in with the instructor and sign the check-in sheet.

Cancellation
Class fees are non-refundable within 48 hours of the class start.

Parking
Please park in the south side of the parking lot near the shed or in the back row of the regular lot.

Our Classroom
Our classroom is located on our second floor and is accessible via the staircase or elevator in the back of our store between the frozen and fresh meat departments.
