DAIRY-FREE SHOPPING TOUR

THURSDAY, MAY 7TH FROM 6:00PM-7:00PM

Did you know most adults have trouble digesting dairy? Our bodies typically stop producing the enzyme needed to digest the sugars in dairy between the ages of 2 and 5, which is why lactose intolerance often develops with age. On this guided tour around our co-op, you’ll enjoy tasty samples while learning about our favorite dairy-free options and how to substitute dairy in your recipes.

Meet The Instructor
Becca Schoenborn is Menomonie Market Food Co-op’s Outreach & Education Coordinator. She has a background in health, wellness, and fitness from University of Wisconsin-Stout. Her mom (and fabulous cook) passed down all of her tips for cooking just about any midwest favorite from scratch, and she enjoys sharing them with others!

Registration
Registration is required in advance for all classes, free classes included. If applicable, payment is due at the time of registration.

How To Register
• Online: Add ticket(s) to your cart and complete the checkout process
• Phone: Call (715) 231-3663 with payment ready
• In Store: Visit the Customer Service Desk at the front of our store

Tickets
After you complete the registration process, a receipt for your class tickets will be emailed to you, and your name will be added to the attendee list(s). When you arrive at your class, please check in with the instructor and sign the check-in sheet.

Cancellation
Class fees are non-refundable within 48 hours of the class start.

Parking
Please park in the south side of the parking lot near the shed or in the back row of the regular lot.

Our Classroom
Our classroom is located on our second floor and is accessible via the staircase or elevator in the back of our store between the frozen and fresh meat departments.
