60 MINUTES IN CHINA

TUESDAY, JAN. 14TH FROM 6:00PM-7:00PM

Authentic Chinese foods are often categorized into five flavors: spicy, salty, sweet, sour, and bitter. A combination of these flavors is believed to provide balance in your body and has been the foundation of Chinese cuisine since the 4th century. In this class, you’ll learn about and sample a variety of Chinese ingredients and recipes, including Chinese five spice cashews.

Meet The Instructor
Tanya Young, Menomonie Market’s Merchandise Coordinator, has been a culinary education instructor and personal chef for over 15 years. She began working at Menomonie Market Food Co-op in 2007.

Registration
Registration is required in advance for all classes, free classes included. If applicable, payment is due at the time of registration.

How To Register
• Online: Add ticket(s) to your cart and complete the checkout process
• Phone: Call (715) 231-3663 with payment ready
• In Store: Visit the Customer Service Desk at the front of our store

Tickets
After you complete the registration process, a receipt for your class tickets will be emailed to you, and your name will be added to the attendee list(s). When you arrive at your class, please check in with the instructor and sign the check-in sheet.

Cancellation
Class fees are non-refundable within 48 hours of the class start.

Parking
Please park in the south side of the parking lot near the shed or in the back row of the regular lot.

Our Classroom
Our classroom is located on our second floor and is accessible via the staircase or elevator in the back of our store between the frozen and fresh meat departments.
