5-PRONGED APPROACH TO WELLNESS

SATURDAY, FEB. 22ND FROM 10:00AM-11:30AM

Being healthy doesn’t mean you have to be miserable! In this class, you’ll learn about author Karen Hurd’s 5-Pronged Approach to Wellness, get to sample some of the delicious recipes from her book, The Bean Queen Cookbook, and hear the outcomes instructor Karen Schleis’s family has had related to diabetes and weight loss by implementing Hurd’s strategies day by day.

Meet The Instructor
Karen Schleis is a DPI certified teacher, life-long learner, crafter, master gardener, and self-proclaimed foodie. After working in the public school system, she immersed herself in working at co-ops, participating in community events, and teaching classes and is now continuing that work at Menomonie Market Food Co-op.

Registration
Registration is required in advance for all classes, free classes included. If applicable, payment is due at the time of registration.

How To Register
• Online: Add ticket(s) to your cart and complete the checkout process
• Phone: Call (715) 231-3663 with payment ready
• In Store: Visit the Customer Service Desk at the front of our store

Tickets
After you complete the registration process, a receipt for your class tickets will be emailed to you, and your name will be added to the attendee list(s). When you arrive at your class, please check in with the instructor and sign the check-in sheet.

Cancellation
Class fees are non-refundable within 48 hours of the class start.

Parking
Please park in the south side of the parking lot near the shed or in the back row of the regular lot.

Our Classroom
Our classroom is located on our second floor and is accessible via the staircase or elevator in the back of our store between the frozen and fresh meat departments.
